Dr Brenda Murrison

CEO & Managing Director

Brenda’s mantra is that “Prevention is better than cure”. Brenda has worked as a GP in Australia for over 24 years now. Her background includes medical education, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Brenda is also a Graduate and Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and in recent years completed her MBA through Ducere Global Business School. Additionally, Brenda is a non-executive director of Lishman Health and AGPA and is on the RACGP Council WA.

When not working, Brenda has 3 great kids, husband, and family to keep her busy and enjoys skiing when she can, walking and the great outdoors.

Damian Green

Business Manager

Damian joined Brecken in 2016 and has a diverse skill set in all things medical. Prior to Brecken Damian worked with other medical centre operators in WA and was involved in the IT and hospitality sectors.

Damian completed his MBA in 2020 and has recently completed the Australian institute of company director’s course. Outside of work Damian and his wife are kept busy with their two young daughters.

Taryn McClements

Operations Manager

Taryn has worked with Brenda and Brecken for over 13 years, and some would say has a degree in all things Brecken. Taryn started her career in medical as a receptionist and then worked her way up to be Practice Manager of Brecken Bunbury which at the time had over 25 GPs. Taryn then coordinated all Southwest sites as they came on board and moved to Perth in 2020 to be Operations Manager site wide.

Taryn is currently studying her MBA with Ducere business school and enjoys swimming, F45 training and brunch on the weekends.

Amy Cocodis

Finance Manager

Amy joined the Brecken team in 2020 to head up the finance and bookkeeper team. Amy completed her Bachelor in Business in 2003 and completed the CPA program in 2009 and worked as a Tax Accountant. Amy is currently doing her Company Directors Course and is based in our Bunbury office.

Amy is a born and bred Bunbury girl and when not working she can usually be found on or around a basketball court (Playing, Refereeing, Stats). Amy also enjoys reading, podcasts and spending time with family.

Tahnee Pearson

Nurse Manager

Tahnee started working at our Mt Hawthorn clinic as an Occupational Health Nurse in 2018, and shortly after took on the role of Practice Manager. Tahnee now works across the Brecken Health sites as the Nurse Manager.

Tahnee spent many years in the Occupational Health and Practice Nursing field after working as a Registered Nurse in a busy surgical ward at SJOG Subiaco. Tahnee has two primary school aged boys who keep her and her husband busy, she enjoys travelling our great state.

Charlotte Middleton

HR Officer

Charlotte joined the Brecken team in 2021 In a new role within Brecken management team.

Charlotte completed a Bachelor of Psychology in 2010 and has worked in the hospitality industry in London before returning to Perth to complete a Master of Human Resources at Curtin University.

Outside of work Charlotte loves making pasta, learning Korean and spending time with Louis her cavoodle puppy.

Michael Hitchins

IT Manager

Michael joined Brecken Health in 2019 to bring IT services in house for the group. Michaels worked in IT for more than 20 years, starting before he was even out of school. He’s spent the last 10 years working in fields related to Medical IT and still specialises in networking. He now heads up the internal IT team and is usually the person you’ll get when you call out of hours.

Michael’s kept pace with IT changes through the various vendor training that’s ever present as well as all of his own projects – he nerds out a bit at home too. When he isn’t in front of a computer, he’s usually doing something car related, either four-wheel driving or racing something, or out and about with his two girls.
